New year, new New Hire Orientation
Do you remember your first day at Children's Hospital Boston? You may have felt a mix of emotions—excitement, anticipation and maybe even a little fear at starting something new. In order to help new employees get off to a great start, Human Resources has redesigned New Hire Orientation to make it more timely, relevant, engaging and welcoming.

Changes to New Hire Orientation include:
- It's now a one-day program.

It's now offered twice a month, so employees can attend closer to the date they begin work.

New employees are assigned online modules in NetLearning, allowing them to review some orientation content at their own desks and pace.

It takes place in Conference Room #7, a smaller room located on One Autumn Street's lower level.

A catered lunch is provided.
