Keeping the dream alive...
On January 11, staff and employees filled Enders Auditorium to honor the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s work at the annual MLK Observance. The theme of this year's event was "Legacy of Literacy," and professor Theresa Perry from Simmons College delivered the keynote address on the perceptions of the power of literacy across generations of Black Americans. The event also honored Stacey Williams, Pathology office manager, and Ronald Wilkinson, MA, MS, manager of Business Intelligence in Information Services, as Children's 2007 Black Achievers.

E-newsletter naming contest...
Congratulations to Derek Carver, clinical instructor in Diagnostic Radiology (right), whose suggestion of "Small Talk" became the name of the new, weekly e-newsletter. Hundreds of nominations were considered, and Carver's winning submission earned him an American Express gift card worth $100.
