A little piece of Boston at Children's

The Cafe at Children's was magically transformed into the snowy streets of Boston for the hospital's annual employee Holiday Party on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Staff and employees strolled through the Boston Commons, following signs for Newbury and Boylston Streets, sitting on park benches and enjoying holiday decorations galore, including custom wreaths styled with ornaments specific to Boston's many neighborhoods, like the North End, Chinatown and Beacon Hill. All told, the Food Services team, joined by more than 100 volunteers, served more than 5,000 staff and employees 3,400 pounds of prime rib, 6,200 shrimp, 4,900 pieces of cake, pie and cookies and more.
