Research Overview
Dr. Ward's primary research is focused on pediatric health services and child health outcomes, as it applies to novel diagnostic imaging examinations, low radiation dose imaging in children, and patient satisfaction and health care disparities.
About Valerie Ward
Valerie Ward earned her A. B. in chemistry from Harvard University, and her MD from the Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her Residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and subsequently a Fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston.

She has received the Radiological Society of North America Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award and the Society for Pediatric Radiology John A. Kirkpatrick Young Investigator Award, as well as the Harvard Medical School Minority Faculty Development Program Bridge Award.
