Research Overview

Dr. Lee's research focuses on vaccine economics, vaccine safety, infectious disease epidemiology and infection control and prevention. She is current principal investigator or co-investigator on AHRQ, NIH, HHS and CDC-funded studies. Several key research projects include: active surveillance of H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccine safety, describing the influenza vaccine financing and delivery system in the U.S., and evaluating the impact of Medicare?s policy of nonpayment for healthcare-associated infections in hospital settings.

About Grace Lee
Grace Lee, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, and Department of Laboratory Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston. Dr. Lee is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Medicine (DPM) at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. She is a member of the Center for Child Health Care Studies at DPM.

Dr. Lee joined the Division of Infectious Diseases at Children's Hospital Boston and DPM at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute in 2003 after completing an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality post-doctoral fellowship. She received her MD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Master of Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her pediatric residency and subspecialty training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatrics Health Services Research at Children's Hospital Boston.
