Research Overview
The ultimate goal of Dr. Luo's research is to elucidate cellular signal transduction pathways mediating various functions of neutrophils, which play a major role in innate immunity.
About Hongbo R. Luo
Dr. Luo received his PhD from Brandeis University. He performed postdoctoral work at Johns Hopkins Medical School, before being appointed assistant professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School in 2004.
In 2004 Dr. Luo received The W. Barry Wood, Jr. Research Award from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently an American Cancer Society Research Scholar, Robert Leet and Clara Guthrie Patterson Trust Scholar, FAMRI Clinical Innovator Award Scholar, and American Institute for Cancer Research Scholar.
