Michelle Delisle, B.S., Research Technologist
Michelle Delisle joined the Engle lab in April 2005 as a Research Technician. She obtained her B.S. degree in Animal Sciences: Bioscience and Technology from the University of New Hampshire. Her undergraduate degree was focused on molecular biology, cell culture and biotechnology. Michelle works hands-on with the mice in our colony on a daily basis, and designed and implemented the lab’s eye care and enrichment programs. She is responsible for phenotyping, genotyping, and managing the multiple mutant and GFP/YPF-expressing mouse lines, updating each researcher on a weekly basis. In addition, she performs a number of behaviorial tests of the visual and nervous systems. She also keeps our animal protocol current and in compliance with all guidelines.
