We are a Boston-based interdisciplinary group of music and language teachers and researchers interested in discussing topics that intersect the fields of music, language and literacy.
It started off through shared interests in music and language from researchers at both Harvard Graduate School of Education (Jenny Thomson) and MIT (Nadine Gaab). Nadine Gaab and Jenny Thomson formed the Music and Language Journal Club in January 2007 with the idea of bringing together the diverse interests in music and language across Boston Colleges and Schools.
