Gaab Laboratory
The Gaab Lab Welcomes Two New Little Members to the Family!
Nadine Gaab is happy to announce the birth of the newest Gaab Lab member Leonas Anton Alkan! The little guy made his first appearance on June 8th at 9:43pm weighing in at 7 pounds and 7 ounces.

Ola's son, Oz Palchik (Ozzy to his friends), was born on April 17th at 4:51 AM. He weighed in at 5 pounds and 14 oz. He tried to make it on time for the marathon but missed it by a couple of hours.

Many exciting changes have happened at the Gaab Lab this summer:
Two of our amazing research assistants have left us for graduate school. Jenny Zuk will be starting a PhD in Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology program at Harvard this fall and Michelle Lee will be starting a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program at MGH. Our lab will not be the same without them and they will be missed.
After spending her summer break from medical school working in our lab, Leeann is leaving us. Thank you Leeann for all your amazing work!
We also added many new and very impressive members to our team. Our three new RA’s: Bryce, Sara, and Barbara have joined our lab with extensive experience in research and working with children under their belt.
Farah is our new co-op student from Northeastern. She is already knee-deep in helping us with our research and learning all about neuroimaging and dyslexia.
Finally, Candice has moved here from Baylor University in Texas in order to refocus her research interests on the impact of early childhood experiences on brain development.
We are fortunate to have so many new and talented people on our team!
