The Markianos Laboratory focuses on the development of computational methods for the design and analysis of genetic studies in human and model organisms. In addition to developing widely applicable methods, they are closely working with experimental groups on study design and the bioinformatics tools suitable for specific projects.
Kyriacos Markianos received his PhD in physics from the University of Massachusetts. He studied statistical genetics and computational biology at the Kruglyak laboratory at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.
