Post-Doc Position in
Computational Biology at
the new Harvard Theoretical Biology Lab
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Position
in Computational and Systems Biology / Bioinformatics.
We are looking for innovative and enthusiastic researchers
with a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,
Biology or related disciplines. Prior experience in biological research is
not required but quantitative skills would be extremely useful.
Research topics within computational systems biology include
(but are not limited to) furthering our understanding of transcriptional regulatory
networks, how gene expression and mRNA processing are controlled with a particular
emphasis in the nervous system and the rules for molecular sorting and localization
in neurons.
The post-doc will work in a highly collaborative environment
within the Harvard Medical School scientific community in the Kreiman lab.
