Genetic Discrimination

Genetic discrimination is the concern that a "third party" (for example, an employer or insurer) might use an individual's genetic test results to deny, limit or cancel health insurance, or to discriminate in a workplace setting. The National Human Genome Research Institute (part of the National Institutes of Health) has a useful website that describes current legislation and policies.
