Research Interests

The MGH Program in Nutritional Metabolism was formed in 2002 under the Direction of Dr. Steven Grinspoon, a recognized expert in the nutritional regulation of pituitary function and metabolic consequences of obesity and fat redistribution. The goal of the multidisciplinary program in to study hormonal function, nutrient trafficking, and the metabolic consequences of fat redistribution in a broad number of disease conditions, including undernutrition, obesity and acquired lipodystrophy, for example among HIV-infected patients.
