Clinical Programs at Children's Hospital

The Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Children's Hospital Boston provides a full range of services for patients with gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and nutritional problems. With more than 14,000 outpatient visits and 2,000 procedures performed each year, Children's is one of the largest pediatric gastroenterology programs in the world. Specialized centers-of-excellence within the division provide cutting-edge care not available at smaller programs; these include the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease, the Center for Childhood Liver Disease, the Motility Program, the Therapeutic Endoscopy Program, and the program of Clinical Nutrition.

Division Chief: Wayne Lencer, M.D.
