Joao Paulo is currently a joint postdoctoral fellow working in the laboratories Dr. Hanno Steen and Dr. Darwin Conwell. This Rhode Island native received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Cell Biology from Brown University (Providence, RI) in 2008. He is currently using proteomics to ultimately discover biomarkers for the early detection of pancreatitis.
