Clinical Discussion Session
This event provides a forum for fellows to participate in a discussion on clinical issues in pediatric medicine. A fellow selects the topic and determines the structure of the meeting. The meeting can be in the form of a journal club, case discussion, or another proposed format.
SEEKING PRESENTERS:
The Office of Fellowship Training is seeking presenters for Clinical Discussion Sessions.
This event provides a forum for fellows to participate in a discussion on clinical issues in pediatric medicine. A fellow selects the topic and determines the structure of the meeting. The meeting can be in the form of a journal club, case discussion, or another proposed format.
Previous topics have included:
- “Young Women’s Definitions of Sex”
- “Overview of current challenges and opportunities in global health”
- “Strategies for addressing health related social service needs in the patient and family centered medical home”
- “Disaster Medical Relief Action in Northeast Japan: Earthquake and Tsunami 2011”
- “Children with Global Development Delay: Evidenced Based Guidelines and Cost of Diagnostic Evaluation- a Quality Improvement (QI) Project in the Neurology Department”
