Fitness Center Discounts for CHB employees
Children's Hospital Boston offers its employees a discounted rate for Fitcorp, Global Fit, Ultimate Bootcamp Program, Weight Watchers, Yoga Discount-Thursdays-Dorchester, and Yoga Classes/Parties for Children.

BCBS reimbursement for joining the YMCA, Curves, and other fitness programs
Blue Cross Blue Shield (new to Children's Hospital Boston for 2006) offers its members up to $150 in reimbursement for membership or exercise classes at a health club, including the YMCA or Curves. The facility you choose must have a vast array of cardiovascular and strength-training exercise equipment, such as traditional health clubs, Ys, and JCCs. Fees paid for attending aerobics/fitness classes at a qualified health club without an annual membership will also be covered, but make sure you get full documentation from the club. Malkin Athletic Center
Access to the Malkin Athletic Center:
- To enter the Malkin Athletic Center, you must be a current member of the Harvard community with access to the facility. Please contact the Athletic Ticket Office to determine your usage fees (M-F 9 am-5 pm, 65 N. Harvard Street, 617-495-2211; www.athletics.harvard.edu).
- Please present your valid Harvard University ID at the front desk each time you visit the Malkin Athletic Center. You will not be admitted without your ID card. Expired cards or cards without MAC access will not be accepted. Do not loan your card to anyone: misused cards will be confiscated, and you may lose your MAC access.
- It is your responsibility to make sure that your card is up to date and that your usage is current. You will not be admitted without a green-swiping Harvard ID. Please call the ticket office (495-2211) with questions.
- All Malkin Athletic Center guests must be accompanied by a MAC member with a valid Harvard ID. Please register all guests at the front desk by completely reading and filling out a guest form and paying the $10 guest fee. Members are limited to one guest per visit.
