  • LEASE GUARANTY PROGRAM
Children's Hospital Boston has implemented a "Lease Guaranty Program" for all residents and fellows who are paid through Children's. The Lease Guaranty Program is intended to help ease the pressure of the high cost of housing in the Boston area. If a landlord requires advance payment of the last month's rent and/or a security deposit, Children's Hospital Boston will guarantee payment to the landlord according to the lease guaranty procedure. In return, the resident or fellow agrees to reimburse Children's Hospital Boston for any payment Children's Hospital Boston is required to make under this guaranty.

This guaranty will be accepted by the landlords and rental agents on the attached list. Eligible residents and fellows may offer the Guaranty to any landlord that they wish; it is expected that the terms of this agreement will be acceptable to many landlords.

Please refer to the attached "Lease Guaranty Procedure" and "Landlords Accepting Lease Guaranty" documents for additional information. Please remember that this program is only available to residents and fellows enrolled in Children's Hospital Boston training programs; trainees must show their offer letter to the Benefits Representative as proof of eligibility. The Lease Guarantee document becomes null and void if a resident or fellow is no longer enrolled in a training program at Children's Hospital Boston; the resident or fellow is required to notify Benefits should this be the case.

If you have additional questions about the program, please contact the Children's HR Employee Service Center by e-mail or call (617) 355-7780 (internally x5-7780), x1, x1, x1.
