Mission Statement
The Office of Fellowship Training (OFT) at Children's Hospital Boston is established to assist fellows -- both clinical and research -- to access resources and network both at Children's Hospital and in the Greater Boston area.
We do this by holding career development seminars and social functions on a monthly basis, mentoring, and identifying relevant training, funding, and other opportunities in the Longwood Medical Area and in Boston.

Fellows' Socials
The last social for the 2008-09 academic year was held on Friday, June 19th, 2009 from 4:30 until 5:30pm in the Karp 7 Atrium. We had an "international thank you cake" - in 22 languages, for the fellows. The BINGO organizers decided to "table" the game until September 2009. We'll do this again, with prizes.
In December 2008 we had an international potluck meal. In September 2008 we had an "international welcome cake" - in 22 languages, to welcome fellows for the new academic year.
- Once a month, from September through June, the Office of Fellowship Training hosts "pizza" socials where research and clinical fellows can get together in an informal setting. These are held on alternating Thursday and Friday afternoons, in Karp and Enders, so that all fellows may have an opportunity to attend.
