The audible portion of the phonocardiogram alone can be heard by cliking on the Wav file. To view both a continuous recording of the electrocardiogram and recorded heart sounds, the Meditron player needs to be downloaded. This program enables the viewer to determine the period of systole and diastole, and to identify the sounds in the proper portion of the cardiac cycle.
