HLHS: Ascending Aortogram- Anterior-Posterior View

Ascending aortogram performed in the anterior-posterior view in a one-week-old neonate with hypoplastic left heart syndrome associated with mitral stenosis and aortic atresia. The ascending aorta is very hypoplastic. There is antegrade filling of the right and left coronary arteries. There is washout of contrast in the mid portion of the left coronary artery produced by a left ventricular-coronary artery fistula. The brachiocephalic arteries and descending thoracic aorta are faintly imaged.
