Ventricular Tachycardia: Fascicular
Electrocardiogram obtained in a 5-year-old child with nonsustained ventricular tachycardia mapped by a subsequent electrophysiology study to the proximal left bundle branch. Because the arrhythmia originates in this region, the QRS complex is narrow (fascicular ventricular tachycardia). The tracing shows atrioventricular dissociation and a mild axis shift during the tachycardia that distinguishes ventricular tachycardia from junctional tachycardia. The V1 rhythm strip at the bottom of the tracing best shows P wave dissociation.
