HLHS: Status Post Sano- 3D Volume Rendered MRI
2-month-old infant with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, mitral hypoplasia, aortic stenosis, s/p Stage 1 repair utilizing a 5 mm Goretex tube graft joining the right ventricle and pulmonary arteries (Sano procedure). A MR angiogram with 3D volume rendering shows the conduit arising from the anterior and left-ward aspect of the right ventricular infundibulum, coursing to the left of the pulmonary root and connecting to the pulmonary arteries. There is proximal left pulmonary artery stenosis. The reconstructed aortic arch is widely patent. There is a left aortic arch with common origin of the innominate artery and left carotid artery (bovine trunk). The innominate vein and right superior vena cava are also visualized.
