The research mission of Robert's Program is to determine the causes and pathogenesis of SUDP utilizing multidisciplinary and state-of-the-art approaches. Our focus is upon the first three years of life when the risk of sudden unexpected death is the greatest. Members of Dr. Kinney’s lab and other involved researchers study sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), sudden unexpected death in childhood (SUDC) and sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP).

We are grateful to have been ranked #1 on U.S. News & World Report's list of the best children's hospitals in the nation for the third year in a row, an honor we could not have achieved without the patients and families who inspire us to do our very best for them. Thanks to you, Boston Children's is a place where we can write the greatest children's stories ever told.”
