Rheumatology Program | Research and Publications

Clinic patients may be invited to join ongoing studies to help our understanding of autoinflammatory diseases. Current projects involve studying PFAPA, the role of the microbiome in Familial Mediterranean Fever, and the use of wearable technologies to help diagnose and treat these rare conditions. We also collaborate on nation-wide research projects with the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA). In addition, we often engage in full genome sequencing to better understand autoinflammatory diseases or other rare conditions.
