Alan D. Michelson, MD
Michelson, MD, is a hematologist at Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center and an expert in platelet disorders, bleeding disorders and clotting disorders. He is the director of the Thrombosis Program and Anticoagulation Service and also the Center for Platelet Research Studies. He completed his medical training in Australia before coming to work here at Dana Farber/Boston Children's. He‘s the author of Platelets, a comprehensive textbook on platelets.
Ellis Neufeld, MD, PhD
Neufeld, MD, PhD, is an experienced pediatric hematologist and an associate chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology. He is also the director of the Thalassemia Program and a professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He has expertise in the treatment of bleeding and clotting disorders including ITP, thalassemia and thrombosis.

Saxena, MD, MS, is a pediatric hematologist who specializes in the treatment of bleeding and clotting disorders including hemophilia, ITP and thrombosis. His research focuses on improving the treatment of hemophilia and other non-malignant blood disorders. He is also an instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
