The Developmental Medicine Center participates in training medical students, residents and fellows at all levels of ambulatory and pediatrics.

  • Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Program: for physicians who have completed their pediatric residency training. The fellowship includes research components to varying degrees. When appropriate to a fellow's special interest, other experiences can also be arranged.
  • Psychology Fellowship: for Psychologists (PhD or PsyD) from an APA/CPA accredited doctoral program who have completed a pre-doctoral internship at an APA/CPA accredited program. The fellowship includes advance practice competency in assessing challenges in child and adolescent development -- including attention deficits, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and regulatory problems as well as common mental health comorbidities -- by integrating the tenets of clinical psychology, developmental psychopathology and cognitive neuroscience, evidence based interventions, and principles of child and family development in order to provide psychological services and conduct applied clinical research. Fellows also participate in ongoing research within the Division of Developmental Medicine.

We are grateful to have been ranked #1 on U.S. News & World Report's list of the best children's hospitals in the nation for the third year in a row, an honor we could not have achieved without the patients and families who inspire us to do our very best for them. Thanks to you, Boston Children's is a place where we can write the greatest children's stories ever told.”
