The goal of the Cochlear Implant Program is to give your child the tools he or she needs to understand language and learn to communicate effectively and confidently.

What we do

Services provided by our multidisciplinary Cochlear Implant Team include:

  • Comprehensive information about all educational and communication options available for the child
  • Assessment of the child's language skills and potential to benefit from a cochlear implant
    Mapping services, ongoing care, professional support, and education to families following cochlear implant surgery
  • Comprehensive evaluation by an audiologist, speech and language pathologist, psychologist, and otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat doctor)
  • Cochlear implant surgery
