Who we are

The Center for Communication Enhancement at Boston Children's Hospital provides comprehensive, expert evaluation, consultative, and therapeutic services to a wide range of patients who experience all types of communication disorders.


Services

Our services include:

  • Augmentative communication assessment and intervention
  • Assessment of speech, language and voice disorders
  • Audiological evaluations
  • Cochlear implant habilitation
  • Computer access to enhance communication
  • Educational outreach
  • Guidance and resources to families of deaf children or children with hearing loss
  • Recommendation of appropriate care for hearing loss
  • Speech-language therapy
