Contact the Center for Airway Disorders

Here at Boston Children’s Hospital, our airway disorders team treats hundreds of children each year who have complex disorders of the airway, providing the most advanced treatments available—including minimally invasive procedures whenever possible.

If your child requires more complex surgery, you are in good hands. We are one of the few airway centers in the world that provides a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon on its leadership team.

Boston Children’s CAD Team: Our Approach to Care

We believe that communication and collaboration are critical to providing patients and their families with the best medical care possible.

  • Carefully coordinated care: CAD’s program coordinator works closely with families to arrange appointments and to address any concerns that you may have.
  • Personalized treatment: Our airway disorders team meets weekly with specialists from across Boston Children's to discuss individual patients and their diagnoses. Doctors from different disciplines share their expertise so that our center can establish a better understanding of your child’s needs and create the most effective treatment plan possible.
  • Comprehensive expertise: Our doctors draw on the expertise of 13 departments and/or divisions and more than 40 specialists throughout Boston Children’s, making our approach to airway disorders one of the most collaborative in the world.
