  Boston Public Schools Showcase
The Children's Hospital Neighborhood Partnerships (CHNP) Program has placed social workers and psychologists in schools in Boston to provide a comprehensive array of behavioral health services to children and adolescents where they live and learn.  For the last 4 years, CHNP has been working at the district level to help develop and implement a comprehensive behavioral health model (CBHM).  CBHM promotes positive school climate and social and academic success for all students.  It is a comprehensive model that integrates tiered supports and services within a school according to student needs, and recognizes family and community partnerships as an integral part of a school's success.  The model has now reached 30 schools with 10 more joining in September 2015.  Children's helped host the 2nd Annual CBHM Showcase event on June 10, 2015 in Dudley Square.  Speakers include Dr. David DeMaso, Patrick Kennedy and Dr. George Sugai.  Please see the attached video clip for a brief overview of the event.  Watch the video
