The Outpatient Psychiatry Service offers diagnostic evaluations and specific treatment recommendations for a wide range of conditions that affect the mental, emotional, and social health of children and adolescents.
Our treatment plans draw from scientific research and clinical guidelines, and are based on compassionate, family-centered care. Comprehensive treatment recommendations may include psychiatric medications, individual psychotherapy, family or group therapy, parent guidance as well as school supports, either in the community or at Boston Children's Hospital.
In addition to our general clinical services, the Outpatient Psychiatry Service includes several specialty clinics/programs that treat specific disorders within the wider range of childhood conditions:
