Contact the Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic

The Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic is committed to providing unsurpassed care to each and every patient, and for that reason, we want your appointment to go as smoothly as possible. Learn how to prepare and what to expect.

How do you book an appointment?

Before booking an appointment with the Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic, contact your primary-care doctor for a referral. Once you’ve received your referral, make an appointment by calling 617-355-6021.

What should I bring for my urgent care appointment?

It is recommended, but not mandatory, to bring recent x-rays and diagnostic results from your primary-care physician to your urgent care appointment. You should also bring your health-insurance card and a form of payment for insurance co-payments.

What will happen during my appointment?

A pediatric orthopedic specialist will evaluate the injury or issue. Based on that evaluation the physician may order imaging or a follow-up appointment. The treatment plan may involve medication, physical therapy or — in certain circumstances — surgery.
