Meet Our Chief Nursing Officer

laura_wood At Boston Children's, Nursing is governed by Patient Care, led by Laura J. Wood, DNP, MS, RN, chief nursing officer and senior vice president of Patient Care. Wood brings a unique perspective to Boston Children’s system of care through her blended background in pediatric nursing, improvement science, health care information technology and quality and safety.

Upcoming Events: 2016 Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Courses

Boston Children's Hospital is pleased to host several Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider courses, provided by the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON), in 2016. This course provides a comprehensive review of the knowledge needed to administer cytotoxic and biotherapeutic agents. Upon successful completion of the course and post-test, participants will receive an APHON Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card.
