Our team of highly specialized doctors works alongside an equally dedicated team of clinicians, including extraordinary nurses and nurse practitioners, to deliver the highest level of quality pediatric care to our patients.
The faculty and fellows regularly attract major research support from the National Institutes of Health, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and a number of other agencies. Four past presidents of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) have been Boston Children's doctors, and the faculties are the recipients of prestigious training and research awards, including four winners of the Shwachmann Award, the highest award of the NASPGHAN.
