Our Mission

As an integral part of the Division of Developmental Medicine, the mission of the Developmental Medicine Center is to improve the lives of infants, children, and adolescents who face developmental and behavioral challenges and to support their families throughout their child’s life span. Our goal is to create models of collaborative care that integrate world class clinical service, cutting edge research, and innovative training programs. This will lead to better diagnostic tools and treatments, improved quality of life, and ultimately cures for developmental and behavioral disorders.

New- Intake Forms Now Available Online!

We require all new families to fill out Patient Intake Forms in order to be added on to our waiting list. We have now made this process a little bit easier by allowing you to print out the form online. Please click on "Your Visit" in the menu bar to the left.

TriVox: Collaborating Online to Improve Children's Healthcare

Through philanthropic support the Developmental Medicine Center has created an online system where parents and teachers can communicate with doctors to improve care for children who need ongoing treatment for ADHD. We will soon be expanding this system to include children with autism, depression, and asthma. Take a look at the video below to learn how this new integrated clinical information sharing system (TriVox--formally known as ICISS)
is helping to improve communication between parents, doctors, and teachers in order to provide our patients with the best possible care.

We are grateful to have been ranked #1 on U.S. News & World Report's list of the best children's hospitals in the nation for the third year in a row, an honor we could not have achieved without the patients and families who inspire us to do our very best for them. Thanks to you, Boston Children's is a place where we can write the greatest children's stories ever told.”
