You will be provided with professional liability coverage for the duration of your training by the Controlled Risk Insurance Company (CRICO) Insurance Company of Vermont. You are eligible for a variety of employee benefits through Boston Children's Hospital, including health insurance (family plans are available) or a medical cash out payment (if you have proof of other health insurance), dental insurance, life insurance and disability insurance.
Fellows receive 10 days per year for vacation and one week for educational meetings and conferences.
Under the Family Medical Leave Act up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave is allowed. Time away from the fellowship must be made up and arrangements must be made with and approved by the Program Director.
