The Division of Pulmonary and Respiratory Diseases at Boston Children’s Hospital provides care for infants, children and young adults with chronic and acute respiratory disorders. We offer a wide range of patient care services, an active program of basic and clinical research and a robust medical training program.
As one of the largest pediatric pulmonary services in the country, we care for more than 12,000 patients each year and perform more than 400 surgical procedures annually. Our multidisciplinary team of on-staff pediatric pulmonologists, pulmonary nurses, nurse practitioners, fellows, respiratory and physical therapists, nutritionists and social workers diagnose and care for children and adults with numerous pulmonary disorders. We also work closely with other departments to coordinate the care of children with multi-system medical problems.
