Dr. Ma is Director of the Bone Health Program and Co-chair of the Low Bone Density Working Group at Boston Children’s Hospital. She sees bone patients in Endocrinology in Boston, Waltham and Peabody.
Sarah Pitts, MD, CCD
Dr. Pitts specializes in the bone health of pre-teens, adolescents, and young adults. As an Adolescent Medicine specialist, she cares for athletes on the female triad spectrum as well as adolescents with eating disorders or pubertal delay / arrest and menstrual dysfunction, taking into account the bone health implications of these processes.
Melissa Putman, MD, CCD
Dr. Putman is a dual-trained endocrinologist in adult and pediatric Endocrinology. Her interests include pediatric bone health, cystic fibrosis related bone disease, the prevention of adult endocrine complications of childhood diseases, and optimizing patient transitions from pediatric to adult care.
Christina Jacobsen, MD, CCD
Dr. Jacobsen is a pediatric endocrinologist and geneticist with a particular interest in genetic bone diseases including osteogenesis imperfecta and skeletal dysplasia as well metabolic bone disease. She sees patients in Endocrinology and with the Orthopedic Surgeons in the Orthopedic clinic.
