The Autism Spectrum Center (ASC) is co-directed by Carolyn Bridgemohan, MD, (Developmental Medicine) and Sarah Spence, MD, PhD, (Neurology) and guided by a multi-disciplinary executive committee. We also have support from workgroups focused on a variety of initiatives to make Boston Children’s the most autism-friendly hospital, and we work closely with our Family Advisory Council to keep our care child- and family-focused.

The Family Advisory Council collaborates with the Autism Spectrum Center in the planning and operation of specific programs; provides a patient and family perspective to ASD care; and promotes strong relationships and communication between patients, families and staff.
