Flower Referral Program
Image We're counting on everyone at Children's Hospital Boston to find us more talented, determined, highly compassionate employees. Those employees making the referral will be eligible to receive a cash award for every applicant referral made, that results in a successful hire.

All employees are eligible to participate except for senior management (director level and above) and the managers involved in the hiring process of the position being filled.

To be eligible for the cash award the referred applicant must list the referring employee's name on the application under the line "How were you referred to us?"

Referrals: The employee referring an applicant for a position (that results in a successful hire), will be eligible to receive a cash award of $500. The pay-out will take place when the applicant successfully completes 90 days of employment.

Employees may refer as many qualified candidates as they wish. Each time successful referral is made (one that results in a hire) the employee who made the referral will receive the cash awards as mentioned above and their name will be entered into an annual drawing.

A Human Resources manager may assign a higher level referral bonus for specific jobs, for limited time periods. Check out the Job Listings link above for a list of job openings.

Referral Program Guidelines
  • Referrals can be made for any regular position.
  • The referral must be an external candidate (not currently working at Children's Hospital Boston).
  • All employees are eligible to participate except for senior management (Director level and above), Human Resources Employment staff, Nurse Recruitment staff and the managers involved in the hiring process of the position being filled.
  • There is no limit to the number of referrals (the name of employee making the referral will be entered into the drawing each time a successful referral is made).
  • The employee referring an applicant for a position that results in a successful hire, will be eligible to receive a cash award of $500. The pay-out will take place when the applicant successfully completes 90 days of employment.
  • To be eligible for the cash award the referred applicant must list the referring employee's name on the application under the line "How were you referred to us?" No Exceptions.
  • The employee must still be working at Children's Hospital during the pay-out period to be eligible to receive the cash awards.
  • There is no limit to the number of referrals an employee can make.
Drawing
  • For every "successful" referral made, the employee's name is placed into a drawing.
  • Five, $1000 shopping sprees will be given away.
  • The employee must still be working at Children's Hospital Boston at the time of the drawing to be eligible to be entered into the drawing.
