James E. Lock, M.D. - Chairman, Department of

Dr. Lock has developed and provided the initial descriptions of
nearly a dozen new techniques in interventional cardiology and was
one of the original inventors of the CardioSEAL® device. He has
extensive experience in placing devices in both simple and complex
lesions.

Kathy Jenkins, M.D., M.P.H.
|
|
Dr. Jenkins is a clinical cardiologist and researcher who oversees
the device clinical trials. She works closely with the
interventional cardiologists, institutional review board, device
manufacturers, and FDA to ensure the trials are conducted properly.

J. Barry Keane, M.D.
|
|
Dr. Keane is the Director of the Catheterization Laboratories and
Chief of Invasive Cardiology. He has extensive experience
with all types of transcatheter interventions and with the
placement of devices.

Stanton Perry, M.D.
|
|
Dr. Perry is the Associate Director of the Cardiac Catheterization
Laboratories and Medical Director of the Cardiac Transplantation
Service. He has extensive experience with all types of
transcatheter intervention including device placement.

Peter Lang, M.D.
|
|
Dr. Lang is a clinical and interventional cardiologist with a
broad interest in transcatheter techniques to treat heart disease
in both adults and children. He is experienced in multiple
transcatheter interventions including device placement.

Mike Landzberg, M.D.
|
|
Dr. Landzberg is Clinical Director of the Boston Adult
Congenital Heart(BACH) service. He shares attending
responsibilities in the catheterization laboratories at
Children's Hospital Boston and
Brigham & Women's Hospital, and is a member of the Heart
and Heart-Lung Transplantation Teams at Children's Hospital.
He is particularly interested in transcatheter techniques,
including devices, to treat disease in adults.

Gael Westall, R.N.
|
|
Gael Westall is the research study nurse for the Cardiology
Clinical Research & Regulatory Group. She is involved in
all device projects and coordinates the clinical aspects of the
studies from the patient's perspective. It is Gael's role to
educate the patient and his/her family about the device and its
function, as well as to help them through the process of being
involved in a clinical study.

Deborah Quigley
|
|
Deborah Quigley is the manager of the Cardiology Clinical Research
& Regulatory Group. She oversees all the device projects
and ensures regulatory compliance with the hospital's internal
review board and the FDA. Deborah is responsible for all data
coordination and report generation for the clinical studies.
