Fall retreat focuses on team building and fun

Fall Housestaff Retreat: An all-day, all housestaff retreat at a location away from the Longwood Medical Area such as the Thoreau Center near Walden Pond. Traditionally, this retreat focuses on getting to know each other outside the hospital. Activities include ropes courses, BCRP Olympics, and other team building activities.

Spring Housestaff Retreat: Another all-day all housestaff retreat. This retreat serves as a forum for reflecting on the year, advising about career and financial issues, voting for teaching awards, and (of course) bowling.

Rising Junior Orientation: An all-day, intern only retreat focused on preparing interns for the responsibilities of the junior year, including increased autonomy and resident and medical student teaching.

Rising Senior Orientation: An all-day, junior only retreat focused on the role of the senior resident, including how to be an effective teacher and team manager, leadership training, and NRP re-certification.
