During rotations with night coverage, call is every fourth night. Interns are protected from admissions overnight by the night float system at each institution during the week. On-call rooms and meal allowances are provided for house officers on night duty. Emergency room rotations are 6 to 12-hour shifts. All rotations in the BCRP are in full compliance with the ACGME work hour regulations.
