Gynecologic issues are common among teenagers and include issues such as delay in puberty, lack of menstrual periods, menstrual irregularities, endocrine problems, menstrual cramps, premenstrual problems, pelvic pain, breast abnormalities, excess hair growth (hirsutism), contraception/birth control, pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and routine gynecologic checkups.
