Pediatric neuroradiology is a specialty of Radiology in which specially trained and experienced radiologists (neuroradiologists) provide diagnostic imaging of the central nervous system and head and neck region in infants, children, and adolescents. This specialty includes the imaging of normal development and imaging of childhood diseases of the brain, spinal column and spinal cord, eye and orbit, ear and temporal bone, nose and paranasal sinuses, face, facial bones, jaw, oral cavity, pharynx, and neck.

Neuroradiologists primarily use CT, MRI, myelography, and angiography, and also work with other radiologists in Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and general Diagnostic Radiology. Neuroradiology provides imaging services for inpatients and outpatients referred from primary general and specialty physicians including pediatricians, pediatric and adolescent medicine subspecialists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, ORL/head & neck surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, ophthalmologists, psychiatrists, plastic surgeons, maxillofacial and oral surgeons, radiation oncologists, and pediatric oncologists.
