The first step in treating your child is forming an accurate and complete diagnosis.
How is Moebius syndrome diagnosed?
Your child's doctor will diagnose Moebius syndrome based on her visible symptoms – especially her lack of facial expressions. Since there is currently no test for Moebius syndrome, the diagnosis is confirmed with a complete physical exam and medical history.
