Immunizations for Teens

Immunizations are an important part of preventive health care to protect teens against diseases such as tetanus, hepatitis, measles, and polio. Teens starting college need to consider immunization against meningococcal disease. Teens going overseas need to check out the CDC website (www.cdc.gov) for instructions on immunizations and medication needed before travel is started.
