I am a clinical assistant. My job is to help your nurses take good care of you.

I collect a lot of information that is very helpful to your doctors and nurses. For example, I will probably be the person to weigh you and to find out how tall you are. I can also prepare you for your day by helping you get dressed and bringing your meals.

Some clinical assistants are studying to become nurses themselves, so you are helping us learn a lot!
