Current Environment:

Protect your newborn against RSV this season!

BEYFORTUS (nirsevimab) is the recently approved antibody injection which has been shown to lessen the severity of disease due to Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).

It is available as a one time injection for infants up to 8 months of age, and will be given seasonally, starting on October 1st each year. Some children, ages 8 - 19 months who fall into certain risk groups may also be eligible to receive the antibody. More information about RSV disease and the new preventative treatments can be found here.

PHCA will be notifying eligible patients via MyChart message when we have the medication available. If you are not registered for MyChart please contact the office so we can get you signed up!

Open Letter to Our Patients & Families

The clinicians at PHCA know that families remain concerned about their health and safety when coming to a medical facility during the COVID-19 pandemic.  It is important to stay current with your routine and preventative health care needs as well as to not delay evaluation of current symptoms that you may be experiencing.  Please read and share the below letter to our patients and families explaining how PHCA has adapted to the current health care environment.

Rapid COVID Testing

PHCA is now offering on-site rapid testing for COVID-19.  The rapid COVID-19 PCR test is currently available only for symptomatic patients who are being evaluated in the office, or have had a virtual visit with a PHCA provider.  We continue to offer send out testing for patients without symptoms who require surveillance testing.

Flu Vaccine Clinics

The providers at PHCA strongly encourage our patients to get their flu vaccine this fall. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for social distancing, we will not be holding walk-in flu clinics. Appointments for flu vaccine will be required.
